Chefren was a Pharaoh of the fourth dynasty of the old kingdom and he was the builder of the second pyramid in Giza.The pyramid is almost as vast as the great pyramid built by his father Cheops. The pyramids of Giza are the oldest of the seven wonders of the world and the last one that still exists. At the foot of his pyramid stands the famous Sphinx and many people believe the sphinx has the features of Chefren.

The Valley temple was connected to the pyramid by a causeway and near a dock at the end of a canal, running from the river Nile to Giza, it was the place where the boat docked that took Chefren’s mummy to his final resting place in the pyramid. In the painting I portrayed Chefren as a sculpture with the God Horus as a falcon protecting the him by putting his wings around him, and opposite the Pharaoh I’ve painted the Valley temple facing him.
